Legal Assistant Oakville Lisa O'Hara

Wendy Carmichael is the Family Law Clerk at Daly Law.  She has over thirty years' experience, having graduated from Sheridan College in 1979.  

Diane and Wendy have worked together for almost eleven years and form a great team.  Wendy runs the office and is involved in all aspects of client management. 

 She is extremely knowledgeable and is particularly adept at assisting clients with the preparation of financial statements.

Lisa O'Hara is the Legal Assistant at Daly Law.  She graduated from Seneca College in 1988 and has been working with Diane since 1992 (with periods off to raise her children). 

Lisa assists Diane with all of the office needs and is an integral part of the team. 

She is likely the cheerful, patient and informative voice that you will hear when you telephone the Oakville law office. 

 

Family Lawyer Diane Daly

Diane was called to the Ontario Bar in 1991 after obtaining her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1989. 

Diane also received a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Sociology, from the University of Toronto. 

Further training and education includes: Mediation for the Family Practitioner;  Level I and Level II Collaborative Training; Collaborative Practice "Train the Trainers". Arbitration Training, and screening for domestic violence training.

A long time resident of Oakville, Ontario, Diane Daly is an active member of the community.  She has served as a Director for the Halton County Law Association, and was chair person of SAVIS for six years. Diane is Past President of the Zonta Club of Oakville. 

Diane is currently a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Milton Court, a volunteer for its Mandatory Information Program roster and a presenter for litigants on Alternative Dispute Resolution Options. 

In addition, she serves as Director-at-Large on the Board of Armagh (a transition housing organization in Mississauga for women and their children who have suffered from domestic violence and who are transitioning from shelter living).
